Laëtitia Thérond is graduated with a three years university degree in Archaeology and Art History (2006) , a master’s degree in History specialized in industrial heritage (2008) and a curator degree (2013). She had been in charge of scientific management of society’s museums since 2011 to 2018.
Since July 2018, she is in charge of French subantarctic and antarctic lands heritage (Terres Australes et Antarctiques Françaises - TAAF). She works in managing artefacts, archives and archaeological sites. She is involved in the archaeological map development and works on sites, artefacts and archives digitalization.
She’s also involved in displaying polar heritage through exhibitions, internet resources and conferences.
She’s been doing fieldwork in French subantarctic islands since 2018.
