Lizzie manages the artefact conservation programme for a combined collection of over 20,000 artefacts in the five historic Antarctic expedition bases of Scott, Shackleton, Borchgrevink and Hillary under the care of Antarctic Heritage Trust. Over 25 years’ experience in the Cultural Heritage sector including the British Library, the National Library of New Zealand, and Lyttelton Museum. Has wintered in Antarctica and spent more than 1000 days “on-ice” leading and working with teams across sixteen seasons in the Ross Sea Region and the Antarctic Peninsula.
